In the offline world, there’s a tool that’s very popular with small business on a budget, a tool that helps them reach HUGE audiences—newspaper classified ads. As you probably know, these ads are very popular with home based businesses. We’ve used them often, and perhaps you have too. However what about businesses that market online like you and I? Well, there’s an online equivalent to newspaper classifieds—yes, you’ve guessed it, online classified ads! This technique is very powerful and will help you reach thousands upon thousands of opportunity buyers and in turn potential new distributors.

In fact, online classifieds are even more effective than their offline counterpart because they give your potential customer or distributor the opportunity to click through a link to immediately get more information about your service and business opportunity!

“Craig’s List”

It’s Free as well and allows you to place area specific ads.
Go to - www.craigslist.com on the right side of the page is all the cities (and
countries) you can post ads to.

1. Select a city for your ad to be posted to...
2. Select a section of that city (really doesn't matter which one, but I usually
select the central most one)
3. Now on the top left hand side of the page select "post to classifieds"
4. Select "services offered"
5. Scroll down to "small biz ads" & select it
6. Put in your "catchy" title. Just get their attention!

Here are some examples;

Make money just hangin' out!
The Deadline is near!
Warning! Only __ days left to sign up!
Be a part of the Yuwie_lution! (you get the idea, make them curious!)

Enter the following into the ad space..

http://www.yuwie.com/profile/?id=(your link number)

Note: After you modify the above link with your link number - highlight the
Whole link & right click & copy it so you can then paste it easily without
having to edit it again.
7. Enter your email address in both lower boxes
8. Leave the button selected on "reply to anonymous" at craigslist (center button)
9. Select continue...
10. Enter the verification word...
11. Scroll down & select "Accept terms of use" You will then get a screen that
notifies you that that you will get an email containing your new ad link.
12. Go back to your email list & refresh the screen or check for new messages.
13. Locate the email from craigslist and open the email.
14. Click on the link in the email.
15. At the top left you will need to click on "publish" to activate the posting on CL.
16. The top banner with then turn green and your ad is posted! It can sometimes take
several minutes for your add to be visible (don't worry, it will show pretty
quickly).

You can now go back to CL and post more ads! CL RULES to follow or they will delete your ad.

a. don't try to use a banner ad or a landing page link - they WILL
delete the ad.
b. the title of the ad has to be different every time (it won't post and you will
get a error)
c. even a similar sentence will be caught as a possible duplicate ad.
d. don't hit all the cities down the list (select 8 - 10 random cities per day to
post on)
